The special rapporteur on behalf of the United Nations for Palestinian affairs and human rights, Francesca Albanza, a declared extreme hater of Israel) finds a new way to promote hatred of Jews under the auspices of the United Nations.
The Italian international lawyer, a well-known anti-Semite, appointed in 2022 to her position at the United Nations, issued a report entitled “Anatomy of Genocide”. Albanza did not refer in the report to the terrorist attack by Hamas nor to the abductees because they “exceed the geographical scope” of the mandate granted to me.
The US administration opposed in advance giving the mandate to Albanza to prepare the report, in light of “a history of anti-Semitic comments she made, including those that justified “the massacre of October 7th”.
By the way, Albanese, as the representative of the nation, responded to the statement of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, that the massacre of October 7 is “the biggest anti-Semitic massacre of our century”, that “the victims of the massacre of October 7 were murdered in response to Israeli oppression”.
In response to Albanza’s post, the French Foreign Ministry published its own post on X: “The massacre on October 7 is the biggest anti-Semitic massacre of the 21st century. To dispute this is a mistake. To justify it, including the name of the United Nations , that’s a shame.”
The German Foreign Ministry also published a post on the subject, which read: “We fully support the response of the French Foreign Ministry. To justify the terrible terrorist attacks of October 7 and to deny their anti-Semitic nature is appalling.”
The function of the report on behalf of the UN is supposed to be carried out by an independent entity that monitors and investigates violations of human rights in the Palestinian territories, publishes public reports on the subject and works with governments and other bodies.
But anyone who would have followed her on Facebook would have discovered that – she also expressed sympathy towards terrorist organizations, rejected Israel’s security concerns, compared Israel to Nazis and accused the Jewish state of potential war crimes.
And here, despite Francesca Albanza’s declared extreme positions, which indicate that she is anti-Semitic, hates Israel, she is appointed to the sensitive position – Reporter on behalf of the UN on the issue of Palestinians (Who knows, maybe she got the position because of her positions) and later she is also sent by the UN to bring a report which she published on March 25 when she accuses Israel of acts of genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In the 25-page report entitled “Anatomy of Genocide”, it is stated that: “The nature and scope of the attacks in the Gaza Strip, as well as the destructive living conditions that Israel has created there, indicate its intention to physically destroy the Palestinians as a group.”
According to the report, there is a “reasonable basis” to assume that Israel is committing three of the five acts defined as genocide according to the UN Convention: “Killing people belonging to the group; Causing serious harm, physically or mentally, to the people belonging to the group; and intentionally placing the group in living conditions that would result in their physical destruction, in whole or in part.”
The report also claims that Israel distorts the laws of war to hide its intent to commit genocide, referring to the entire Gaza population as “terrorists” or “supporters of terrorism”.
Albanza concluded the report with a recommendation to the UN member states to “quickly end an arms embargo on Israel, because it appears that it is not complying with the binding instructions of the International Court of Justice in The Hague.”
The US responded to the report published by Albanza and rejected its findings.
On March 27, the spokesman for the US State Department, Matthew Miller, said that “the accusations of genocide are unfounded”, and noted that the administration opposed in advance giving the mandate to the report” in light of “a history of anti-Semitic comments it has made”, which justified “The massacre of the 7th of October”.
A few hours after the publication of the report, the Israeli delegation to the UN in Geneva responded and wrote in X: “The report published today by the Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian Territories is a disgrace to the Human Rights Council. Israel completely rejects the report, which is part of a campaign that seeks to undermine the very establishment of the Jewish state, as demonstrated by words and actions, Israel’s war is against Hamas, not against Palestinian citizens.”
