The IDF spokesman in Arabic, Lt. Col. Avihai Adrai, revealed a recording of an Al-Jazeera reporter using a weapon – and accused him of fulfilling a senior position in Hamas. In a post published by Adrai on his X account, he wrote: “In the morning a ‘journalist’ on the Al-Jazeera network and in the evening a terrorist in Hamas!”.

Adrai published the documentation after an intelligence analysis was performed on that journalist’s computer, and on the photos found on it, which directly links him to activities in the Hamas organization. Adrai also added in the post that “it is interesting what details about additional ‘journalists’ we will find out in the near future.”
