The photos of the four abductees, Noa Argamani, Almog Meir, Shlomi Ziv and Andrey Kozlov, who were rescued by the IDF’s daring sniper, were emblazoned on the front pages of the most important media outlets in the world, from CNN and BBC to the New York Times.

Many of the world’s media highlighted the rescue of Noa Argamani, which the world was exposed to when she was kidnapped on a motorcycle on October 7. Her photos were published all over the world.

The Italian newspaper “La Repubblica” reported on the rescue of the four abductees and emphasized that “Among them is Noa, the young woman who became the symbol of October 7.” “Corriere della Sera” showed her abducted photo and next to it a headline of her words in a conversation with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu today: “These are the first words of Noa, who was held captive by Hamas for 8 months: ‘I’m excited, I haven’t heard Hebrew in a long time.'”

On the front page of the “Daily Mail” tabloid website, one of the most read newspapers in the world, a clip from the video of Argamani’s meeting with her father was shown and at the bottom a photo from the video of her abduction. “Noa is finally free,” the headline reads, “the brave 26-year-old student is one of the four abductees who were rescued alive after the horror of the abduction by Hamas at the ‘Nova’ music festival.”

The newspaper, which throughout the war devoted extensive coverage to the families of the abductees and their suffering, noted the fact that Noa’s mother is very ill, presented photos of them together from the past and emphasized that the young Argmani had been “exhausted” in captivity.

The Argentinian newspaper “Clarin” reported in the headline about Israel’s “mega-operation”, also under a video documenting the kidnapping of Noa Argamani on October 7. “The abductees who were released are young people who were abducted by terrorists at the ‘Nova’ music festival. Noa Argamani was one of the faces and symbols of the attack due to the documentation of her abduction.”

The main headline of the BBC website featured the picture of the abductee Almog Meir giving a victory sign with his thumbs after he was returned to Israel: “Four Israeli abductees who were kidnapped by Hamas during the Nuva festival in the organization’s attack on October 7 were rescued in a daylight operation in the heart of Gaza,” the broadcasting corporation reported the British.

The titles began to change:

Along with the reports on the daring operation, the international media also reported at noon on the dozens of Palestinian deaths during the operation in the area where the abductees were held and in the areas adjacent to it. In the evening, the main headlines on the news sites reported on many deaths – according to Hamas more than 200 – in the Nusairat refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip. The IDF spokesman told the Saudi Al-Hadath channel that more than 100 people were killed in Nusirat – including a large group of terrorists and civilians whom Hamas used as human shields.

Arab media such as “Al-Arabiya” and “A-Sharq Al-Awast” first put on their main headlines pictures of the rescue of the kidnapped and reported on the extraordinary operation of the IDF, but after a while, with the culture, the reports about the dead Palestinians began to change the headlines for the “Nosirat Massacre”.

Hours later, following the reports of the dead in the attacks in the center of the Gaza Strip, the major websites switched to a combined headline of the two events. “Israeli hostages were rescued in a raid in which, according to Gaza officials, more than 200 were killed,” the CNN website reported to readers this evening in its main headline.
